Without continuous suction, fluid accumulates in the patient's mouth, disrupting treatment. Additionally, rotating instruments can cause aerosol formation, creating infection risks.
Hybrid Excom devices capable of suctioning both water and air are available in different versions from 1 unit up to 6 units. With Excom devices, which are a modular system, combinations can be made to support 15 dental units simultaneously for higher suction requirements.
EXCOM Hybrid combines dry and semi-wet suction technology in a single device. Regardless of the unit's environment, whether a semi-wet or dry suction system is present, the same device can be used for both situations. This provides dentists and practice planners with a high degree of planning flexibility, as two different technologies can be combined or even exchanged over the years.
