MORITA Veraview IC5 HD Panoramic X-Ray Unit

Differentiating Features of the Device

  • Panoramic X-Ray Unit Providing Measurements as Precise and Linear as Tomography
  • Morita IC5-HD panoramic X-ray unit captures panoramic X-rays that offer both high resolution and measurement accuracy with its unique sensor/tube and image generation technology. Also, it will be the most important device of your clinic with its easy use, durability, and user-friendly software.
  • It is a device you can use uninterruptedly for up to one million exposures with Japanese technology and top-level hardware quality. You can find its distinctive important features below.

Morita technology supports you mechanically and digitally to obtain a 1:1 scale panoramic X-ray in implant planning.

The C-arm, rotating within the patented radial groove developed by Morita, keeps the tube-patient-sensor distance constant during panoramic X-ray exposure. The angle of the rays reaching the patient and sensor from the tube is 90°. Thanks to this, the lines forming the panoramic X-ray are linear and orthogonal. In other words, no distortion occurs in the panoramic X-ray.

The operating system of the panoramic X-ray unit calibrates the panoramic X-ray as 1:1, thus enabling measurement within the software. Consequently, the panoramic X-ray you view is real, and the distances you measure on the panoramic X-ray are accurate and reliable.

This feature can also be used in periapical images obtained from the panoramic X-ray.

The IC-HD model currently on the market is a third-generation IC5 panoramic, which is the newest and most up-to-date version of Morita's IC5 series.

With the parabolic rotation movement of the C-arm inside a patented radial groove (rail), a fixed-scale, orthogonal linear panoramic exposure is performed. This technology is also patented, and thanks to it, precise measurements can be obtained in the entire image, just like a 2D tomography shot, with zero distortion, constant magnification, 1:1 measurement with automatic calibration, and implant planning capability.

There is an automatic light optimization and image enhancement system with a digital photometer. This system is also patented; thanks to the system, there are no shadows, glares, blackouts, or fluctuations in the image. There is also balance in the light distribution of the image.

There is an instantaneous and variable dynamic dose and image management system during exposure based on bone density measurement with a densitometer. Thanks to this patented system, precise dose and image management can be performed in the 1-7.5 mA range with 1-milliampere precision stepwise.

Again, thanks to this, the image is formed balanced and homogenous; furthermore, maximum benefit can be derived for diagnostic purposes from the 16-bit gray scale and gray distribution, where black and white colors are few in the image, while gray tones are rich.

16-bit gray scale with only 20 mAs radiation in 5.5-second super-fast shooting mode. With the Morita X-Ray Unit IC5, 16-bit gray scale and 4.6-megapixel resolution are obtained with only 40 mAs radiation in 10-second super high-resolution shooting mode.

The Morita X-Ray Unit uses an HD tube; photon energy power is high with a tube frequency of 140 kHz. High resolution is obtained in a short time with low radiation intensity. Additionally, with the tube's 116 kilojoule heat unit, there is no heating and no digital noise.

The Morita X-Ray Unit uses an HD scintillator sensor; there is no digital fog or reflection, and moreover, a color range of 16 bits, that is, 65,530 gray tones, is obtained.

Morita IC5 can shoot with an average of 4 mA within a 1-7.5 mA dynamic range at 0.5 mA precision, and since the exposure time is short; there is no other brand or model that can approach these dose values. Competitor models use at least 3 times more dose to achieve similar image resolution, and there are even models that give up to 16 times more dose for the same job.

It includes DICOM licensed Turkish network type software, patient tracking, diagnosis and implant planning program, and a rich implant library. It provides full compatibility with patient information management systems.

Positioning the patient and focusing the beams is very easy. With 13 auxiliary elements, the dentist or assistant has the opportunity to capture error-free panoramic images.
