MORITA Veraviewepocs 3D R100 P Volumetric Tomography and Digital Panoramic Imaging Unit

“MORITA: The Only Dental Tomography Brand Capable of Producing Real Images by Shooting Simultaneously”

MORITA Veraviewepocs 3D R100 P Panoramic X-Ray Volumetric Tomography Unit is a new mechatronic technology product; it works like a radiology robot that thinks, decides, and executes with artificial intelligence. Its basic reference is the patient's bone density measurement. It optimizes the dose and image specifically for the patient according to the patient's bone density distribution. Radiological images are formed in a new generation rich gray structure, not the old technology black and white. Thanks to the patented new Reuleaux triangle-shaped field of view, a wider imaging area is obtained while dose is not sent to unused areas.

This device combines 2 functions. The device captures 3D digital volumetric tomography and multi-layer panoramic X-rays in 8 different Fields of View (FOV).

With this device, the entire maxilla including the sinus floor and the entire mandible up to the ramus can be imaged together or separately. If desired, regional tomography can be taken from the upper or lower jaw or both.

Real images are obtained from every region by applying continuous dose throughout the exposure time. The image is not created by software, it is obtained by exposure.

When continuous X-ray is delivered, the sensor never loses power, and a real image is produced at every point; there is no data loss.

The device features a fixed New Generation Flat Panel sensor.

The newly developed image transfer card acts as a buffer between the sensor, operating system, and tube, buffering the images captured by the sensor and ensuring the transfer of all of them to the computer without any image loss.

The device possesses unique real resolution. Sharp images are obtained with 2 lp/mm resolution up to 16 lines/mm, and with 3 lp/mm resolution up to 54 lines/mm.

Displayed images can be examined by taking slices with a precision between 0-125 microns.

640 slices are created in just 9 seconds with continuous exposure.

Thanks to the patented Reuleaux Triangle-shaped tomography field of view fully compatible with the newly developed dental arch form, more area is imaged with less dose.

The captured volumetric field of view is in the shape of a triangular prism or cylinder.

It applies less dosing with the new automatic dose management technique. The patient-specific dynamic and tissue-variable dosing feature based on bone density measurement, which Morita developed and already uses in panoramic shots, is also applied in tomography shots. Additionally, thanks to Hounsfield Scale support, bone density measurement is performed much more detailedly.

Thanks to automatic focusing and scout image, the device can be automatically positioned to the desired region.

In panoramic shots, the device detects the dental arch region via laser lights and automatically focuses there by moving the C-arm in two axes.

In tomography shots, a preliminary image (scout image) is taken; when the desired region is marked on the computer screen, the device automatically moves the C-arm and focuses on the target.

The high-clarity providing AFP function is now available in R100s as well. The AFP (Adaptive Focal Position) function analyzes multiple layer exposures. It checks every region, selects optimum panoramic layers, and converts them into a new image. Result: Every element in the image from the root apex to the incisal/occlusal region is perfectly in focus.

The device is a product of new mechatronic technology and works like a radiology robot that thinks, decides, and executes with artificial intelligence. Its basic reference is the patient's bone density measurement.
It optimizes the dose and image specifically for the patient according to the patient's bone density distribution.
Radiological images in the Volumetric Tomography, Digital Panoramic, and Cephalometric X-Ray Unit are formed in a new generation rich gray structure, not the old technology black and white.

In the multi-layer panoramic image taken with Panorama Plus technology, the desired location can be focused on by adjusting the most suitable region and axis among 1700 layers. Thanks to automatic focusing and scout image, the panoramic X-ray unit can be automatically positioned to the desired region to be imaged.
